Nollywood actress Anita Joseph has hit back at her estranged husband, MC Fish (Fisayo Michael), asking him to stop pulling her back into online drama and let her move forward in peace this year.
Her “Memo to my Ex” message was shared on her Instagram story, just hours after MC Fish took to social media to address controversies about their marriage.
In a firm but calm post, the movie star wrote, “Memo to my ex. I don’t want to run in the mud with you.” She continued by urging him to speak his mind now if he had anything to say so she could “get on with my life.”
Anita Joseph also made it clear she was not interested in getting entangled in whatever online battles MC Fish was involved in. “I don’t know who you are fighting with online, but please leave me out of whatever you are fighting,” she added. The actress emphasized that 2026 is about growth and positive energy for her, urging, “Stop dragging me back with your mess.”
She ended her message with a sincere plea for peace and closure: “Shalom!! LEAVE ME ALONE!!!” — a bold statement that reinforces her desire to move past the public dispute.
This response from Anita comes on the heels of MC Fish’s own social media remarks, in which he defended his career, rejected claims of being financially dependent on the actress, and even shared that Anita was the one who initially approached him before their marriage.
While MC Fish’s posts attempted to clarify his side of the story and defend his work as an MC and hypeman of over 15 years, Anita’s reply signals a clear wish to disengage from the public fallout of their relationship and focus on her personal growth moving into the new year.
