Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has finally addressed her fans following renewed verbal attacks from her colleague, Lizzy Anjorin, which resurfaced online on Tuesday. The latest round of accusations came after Lizzy alleged that Iyabo was somehow linked to the death of late singer Destiny Boy, a claim that quickly sparked outrage and debate across social media.

In what appeared to be a direct response, Iyabo took to TikTok Live to speak calmly to her supporters, urging them not to engage Lizzy or escalate the situation. Rather than trading insults, the actress expressed concern for her colleague’s wellbeing, describing Lizzy as someone who has changed drastically over time and now appears deeply troubled.

According to Iyabo, Lizzy is no longer the same person fans once knew. She questioned when her colleague’s struggles began and suggested that professional intervention might be necessary. Iyabo stressed that she harbours no anger toward her and believes prayer is the only appropriate response at this point.

“She is not normal. She is not the same Liz who used to dance and sell her products. I don’t know where her trouble started. The only thing I can do at this stage of her madness is to pray for her,” Iyabo said during the live session.

She further alleged that Lizzy mentions her name constantly as a way of staying relevant, adding that the attacks no longer bother her because her life and career are progressing. Iyabo also appealed to her fans to ignore the accusations entirely.

“She mentions my name in every little thing. As she is cursing me, I am progressing, and my children are making it so; why should I be angry? My fans should please ignore her. She really needs help,” she added.

In one of her strongest statements, Iyabo expressed disappointment in Lizzy’s husband, claiming he should have taken steps to seek medical attention for his wife. She insisted she had never cursed Lizzy’s child, contrary to accusations made against her.

“It is unfortunate that she is married to a man who is not learned. He should have taken her to a mental home, or maybe he doesn’t care. She said I curs£d her child, but I never did that. I don’t wish her child evil. God will bless and give her child wisdom. I love children so much,” she stated.

Iyabo also accused Lizzy of repeatedly attacking her because of her popularity, insisting that she no longer has the time or energy for ongoing online drama. “She drags me every time because it is my name that makes her relevant. This is 2026, and all I want to do is make money. I don’t have her time. She is delusional… SHE NEEDS HELP,” she concluded.

The feud between both actresses is not new. Last year, Iyabo, who is in a relationship with Paulo Okoye, publicly addressed Lizzy’s attacks on her family, including comments directed at her grandson. At the time, Iyabo admitted it was difficult to remain silent but assured fans that her legal team was documenting everything.

On Lizzy’s wedding anniversary in July, the actress alleged that Iyabo had made her life unbearable since she got married in 2020. She accused Iyabo of orchestrating private recordings of her husband, forging a death certificate for donations and Facebook monetisation, and moving from blog to blog to destroy her marriage and business.

In the same month, a Lagos court dismissed the N1 billion defamation lawsuit Iyabo had filed against Lizzy, a ruling that prompted Lizzy to publicly mock her. Following the judgment, Iyabo warned via Instagram Live that Lizzy should be held responsible if anything happened to her or her children, stressing that they were not friends and owed each other no loyalty.

For months, both actresses dominated online conversations by publicly airing their grievances. Iyabo had once shared a video mocking Lizzy humorously, while Lizzy retaliated by making intimate allegations about Iyabo’s personal life. Despite the ongoing drama, Iyabo now insists she is focused on peace, progress, and protecting her family.
