Popular TikTok star, Habeeb Hamzat, widely known as Peller, has stirred reactions online after vowing never to marry a Nigerian woman following his highly publicised breakup with fellow content creator, Jarvis.
The 20-year-old social media personality made the declaration during a recent livestream that quickly gained traction across various platforms.
Peller, who has remained in the spotlight since his separation from Jarvis, spoke candidly about his emotional state and future relationship plans.
According to him, the experience surrounding the breakup has significantly shaped his outlook on marriage, prompting him to consider finding a life partner outside Nigeria.
During the livestream, Peller revealed that he recently encountered a woman from eSwatini, a Southern African nation formerly known as Swaziland. He described the woman as calm, respectful, and well-mannered, qualities he said deeply appealed to him.
The influencer noted that the encounter left a lasting impression and reinforced his belief that she fits his ideal image of a wife.
“I recently encountered a lady from eSwatini, she’s not only very beautiful but also calm and collected,” Peller said.
He went further to declare that he has no intention of marrying a Nigerian woman, adding that eSwatini is now his preferred destination in search of a spouse.
The TikTok star also expressed his readiness to travel to the country to formalise the relationship. In a statement that surprised many viewers, he said he would be willing to pay the traditional bride price, revealing plans to present 17 cows to the lady’s family as part of the marriage process.
“I will never marry a Nigerian. eSwatini is my new target for finding a wife. I will go to the country and marry that lady. I will give her father 17 cows,” he stated during the livestream.
Peller’s comments immediately sparked mixed reactions online, with some fans expressing support while others criticised his sweeping generalisation about Nigerian women.
The influencer, however, appeared unfazed by the backlash, issuing a warning to those making jokes or mocking him over his breakup with Jarvis.
He cautioned fans to stop ridiculing him, stating that anyone who continues to mock or provoke him would be blocked across his social media platforms.
According to Peller, the jokes have become emotionally draining, and he prefers to move on peacefully from the episode.
The TikTok star also reiterated that his relationship with Jarvis has ended completely and that they are no longer romantically involved. He clarified that their interaction, if any, is now strictly platonic.
Peller and Jarvis’ relationship had attracted massive attention online, with fans closely following their journey before the breakup became public. Since then, Peller has remained a frequent topic of discussion, often making headlines for his controversial statements and actions.
As reactions continue to trail his latest declaration, it remains to be seen whether Peller will follow through with his plans or if the remarks were driven by emotions in the aftermath of his breakup.
