Nollywood actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham has showered praises on her junior colleague and social media influencer, Enioluwa Adeoluwa, expressing deep satisfaction over casting him in her latest movie, Oversabi Aunty.

Taking to her Instagram page, Toyin shared a heartfelt post affirming her love and admiration for Enioluwa, stating that she did not make a mistake choosing him for the role despite his busy schedule.

 According to the actress, she patiently waited for him to be available, and the outcome justified her decision.

“I didn’t make a mistake casting you. Even with your tight schedule, I said I would wait, and I’m glad I did,” Toyin wrote, making it clear that the actor’s performance exceeded her expectations.

The filmmaker praised Enioluwa’s dedication and commitment to the role, noting that his presence alone brought the character to life. She explained that he played the role of Oversabi Aunty’s only son with remarkable depth, passion, and authenticity.

Toyin further revealed that Enioluwa fully embodied the character, taking the role home, internalising it, and delivering consistently on set. According to her, he lived the character every single day and delivered a performance that went far beyond what was expected.

“You ate the role, took it home, brought it back to set every single day, lived it, owned it, and delivered beyond expectations. You butchered that role and turned it into something unforgettable,” she added.

The actress also used the opportunity to promote the movie, reminding fans that Oversabi Aunty is still showing in cinemas across Nigeria and in selected Odeon cinemas in the United Kingdom.

Toyin Abraham’s praise for Enioluwa comes amid growing public admiration for their on-screen chemistry and off-screen bond. During the movie’s premiere, Enioluwa had jokingly expressed interest in marrying Toyin, claiming that she had been calling him frequently and that he was no longer sure if the calls were about the movie alone. The playful moment sparked laughter and reactions from fans online.

Toyin also drew attention recently for her lively appearance at Priscilla Ojo’s wedding, where she humorously reprised her Oversabi Aunty character. 

Her performance at the event earned widespread praise, with many applauding her ability to seamlessly blend humour with personality. She was also seen playfully warning Enioluwa not to cross her at the wedding, a moment that further entertained fans.

Beyond her movie success, Toyin has continued to receive massive love and support from colleagues and fans. She recently expressed gratitude to Harvesters Church founder, Pastor Bolaji Idowu, for his unwavering support, describing it as deeply meaningful.

The actress was also left emotional after receiving overwhelming support from residents of Bonny Island, Port Harcourt, who trooped out in large numbers to watch her movie. Sharing photos from the cinema, Toyin praised their unmatched love and energy.
