British-Nigerian boxing superstar Anthony Joshua is reportedly considering retirement from professional boxing following a tragic car accident in Nigeria that claimed the lives of two people close to him.

“All these emotional feelings whenever he’s fighting, it’s too much trauma for us also,” he said.

“Now that he has said that he’s leaving while the ovation is highest, we are happy,” Adedamola stated, suggesting that Joshua is considering exiting the sport while still widely respected and celebrated globally.
