Hollywood actor and musician Will Smith has been sued in Los Angeles over allegations of sexual harassment brought forward by a former tour violinist.

The lawsuit was filed just days before the end of the year by Brian King Joseph, a professional violinist and former America’s Got Talent finalist, who claimed that Smith sexually harassed and emotionally distressed him during the actor’s 2025 music tour.

According to reports by Fox News, Joseph alleged that his professional relationship with Smith began in December 2024 after he performed at an event where the Hollywood star was present.

He claimed the interaction later led to his inclusion in Smith’s “Based on a True Story: 2025 Tour,” where he worked as a violinist.

Joseph alleged that what initially started as a professional relationship later became increasingly personal. In court documents, he claimed that Smith began making comments suggesting they shared a “special connection,” which made him uncomfortable.

The violinist further alleged that troubling events occurred while the tour was in Las Vegas. He claimed that he returned to his hotel room one day to discover signs that someone had entered the room without his permission.

According to him, items he did not recognize were found inside the room, including a handwritten note addressed to him, personal belongings, and medical-related items that allegedly belonged to someone else.

Joseph said the incident left him shaken, fearful, and distressed. He claimed he immediately reported the matter to hotel security and law enforcement authorities, seeking protection and clarification over what had happened.

However, the violinist alleged that instead of receiving support, he was later accused of fabricating the incident. He claimed that he was dismissed from the tour shortly after raising the complaint and was swiftly replaced by another violinist.

In the lawsuit, Joseph accused Will Smith of grooming, emotional distress, loss of income, and reputational damage.

He claimed the alleged incident negatively affected his mental health and professional career, stating that the dismissal from the tour led to financial losses and long-term emotional trauma.

Joseph is seeking damages in court for the alleged harm he suffered, including compensation for emotional distress and loss of earnings.

As of the time of filing this report, Will Smith and his representatives have not publicly responded to the allegations. No official statement has been released addressing the claims made in the lawsuit.

The case adds to the growing list of legal controversies involving high-profile figures in the entertainment industry and is expected to draw significant public and media attention in the coming weeks as legal proceedings unfold.

It remains unclear when the matter will be heard in court or how Smith’s legal team intends to respond to the allegations. For now, the claims remain allegations, with no judgment or ruling yet issued by the court.
