Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has taken to social media to address the growing criticism against Christians who openly share their prayers online. The actress questioned why people are quick to judge those who use social media to express their faith, highlighting a double standard in what is deemed “acceptable” to post.
In her recent post, Tonto Dikeh asked, “Why are people so judgmental whenever they see Christians posting when they pray?” She pointed out that society often tolerates and even celebrates posts about partying, drinking, smoking, and other worldly activities. “If people of the world can be having sex and post it on social media, people can be drinking, smoking, and post, people can be clubbing and post, people can be oble and post it. Then why are you crazy whenever you see people speaking in tongues to promote people's faith and become mad?” she added.
Tonto’s statement is resonating widely among her followers, who are applauding her courage for speaking out against the judgmental attitudes on social media.
