Nigerian media activist and social commentator Martins Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has spoken out following reports of Nollywood actress Doris Ogala’s alleged arrest, directing a strong warning at Pastor Chris Okafor.

The long-running controversy between the cleric and the actress has dominated social media discussions in recent weeks. It began after Doris Ogala publicly accused the pastor of emotional betrayal, claiming he promised to marry her but later went ahead to wed another woman. The situation escalated rapidly, drawing reactions from fans, celebrities, and online commentators.

Until now, VeryDarkMan had remained quiet on the matter. However, the reported arrest of the actress appears to have prompted his intervention. In a video circulating online, the outspoken activist expressed concern for Ogala’s safety, insisting that her situation should not be treated lightly.

VDM alleged that Doris Ogala may be in danger and called on Pastor Chris Okafor to ensure her safe return. According to him, the circumstances surrounding her arrest raise serious questions that should not be ignored.

Explaining why he decided to speak up, VeryDarkMan said he felt compelled to reach out to the actress after repeatedly sensing that something was wrong. He claimed that prior to her alleged arrest, he contacted Ogala, who then shared evidence related to her claims with him.

“Yesterday, my spirit kept telling me to call Doris Ogala about this issue. After calling her in the morning, she sent me all the evidence she had,” VDM stated.

He further alleged that those who arrested the actress might attempt to tamper with or erase the information on her phone, which he believes contains critical material connected to the ongoing dispute.

“I know those who arrested her want to destroy the evidence on her phone,” he added.

VDM went on to issue a direct ultimatum, naming Pastor Chris Okafor and another individual, Jeremiah, in his warning. He said that if Doris Ogala does not regain her freedom within a specific timeframe, he would make public the materials he claims to have received from her.

“I’m giving Pastor Chris Okafor and Jeremiah a warning: if Doris Ogala does not return home by Tuesday, every piece of evidence she sent me will be released on social media,” he declared.

The activist’s comments have further intensified the already heated situation, with social media users divided over his intervention. While some have praised him for speaking out and demanding accountability, others have criticised the public nature of the warning, urging all parties involved to allow legal processes to take their course.

As of the time of reporting, there has been no official response from Pastor Chris Okafor regarding VDM’s claims or warning. Authorities have also not issued a formal statement confirming or denying Doris Ogala’s alleged arrest.

The situation continues to unfold, with many Nigerians closely monitoring developments. For now, the case remains a blend of personal allegations, public scrutiny, and legal uncertainty, as questions persist over Doris Ogala’s whereabouts and the next steps from those involved.
