As anticipation builds ahead of the Super Eagles’ opening fixture at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), controversial Nigerian cleric and spiritual leader, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has released a bold prophecy concerning the national team’s lineup.
In a statement that has sparked intense debate among football fans and analysts, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church advised the Super Eagles’ technical crew to reconsider the roles of star forwards Ademola Lookman and Victor Osimhen in their AFCON 2025 campaign.
According to Primate Ayodele, the inclusion of Lookman in the starting lineup could negatively influence the team’s overall performance. The outspoken cleric claimed the Atalanta winger would not make a meaningful impact if fielded during the match.
