The Idibia family has taken a decisive legal step by petitioning the Inspector General of Police (IGP) over a series of disturbing allegations involving a woman identified as Miss Natasha Osawaru.
According to the petition, Natasha allegedly assaulted their son, Innocent Idibia, in London and various other undisclosed locations, prompting the family to seek immediate intervention from Nigeria’s highest police authority.
In the petition, the family expressed deep concern for Innocent’s safety, insisting that the repeated incidents of harassment and physical abuse can no longer be ignored.
They emphasized that their son has suffered emotional and physical trauma due to what they described as “unprovoked and continuous attacks.” The petition states: “Natasha has assaulted our son, Innocent Idibia, in London and other places, and we believe her actions pose a serious threat to his safety.”
Beyond the assault accusations, the Idibia family is also calling for a thorough investigation into Natasha’s alleged involvement in providing their son with different types of drugs.
According to them, these substances were given to Innocent without the family’s knowledge or consent. They wrote: “We also petition the IG’s office to investigate Miss Natasha Osawaru’s alleged involvement in giving our son, Innocent, various drugs.”
The family stressed that these allegations are not mere speculations but serious concerns backed by testimonies and evidence they are prepared to present. They urged the Inspector General of Police to take immediate action to protect their son and ensure that the full truth is uncovered.
This developing case has sparked widespread reactions, with many Nigerians demanding transparency, accountability, and swift justice. As the investigation unfolds, all eyes remain on law enforcement agencies to determine the next line of action regarding the accusations against Natasha Osawaru.
