Nollywood actress and digital content creator, Onwuson Faith Ifeoma, popularly known as Honeypot, has stirred conversation online after revealing that long hours of sexual activity are not necessary for her to feel satisfied.
The social media personality made the disclosure during her appearance on The Honest Bunch Podcast, where she spoke candidly about intimacy, relationships, and cultural expectations, particularly within Igbo society.
According to Honeypot, satisfaction in a relationship goes far beyond sexual performance, stressing that emotional connection, care, and affection matter more to her than prolonged intercourse.
She stated clearly that sex is not a major priority in her life, adding that she can comfortably go for months without it.
“I am not a sex person,” she said. “I can stay months, with my full chest. One minute of sex is enough for me. When you are done, come down from my body.”
The actress also used the platform to dismiss rumours and assumptions often made about her lifestyle because of her bold online presence. She insisted that she does not engage in hookups and has never been paid for sex, despite frequent messages she receives in her direct messages.
“That is why when I come out and say don’t come into my DM, I don’t do hookups, I can say it with my full chest,” she said, maintaining that no one can come forward with claims of having paid her for sex.
Beyond intimacy, Honeypot spoke extensively about societal values in Igbo culture, particularly how a man’s success is often judged by how well he takes care of his wife.
She explained that outward appearance can be misleading, noting that wealth and responsibility are better reflected in a man’s household than his personal lifestyle.
“In Igbo land, you can see a man walking around in shorts, but if you want to know if he is rich, look at his wife,” she said. “That’s not stupidity. A man’s money should reflect on the woman. It shows the man is doing well.”
She added that a woman having a job or source of income does not remove a man’s responsibility to provide and care for her, stressing that support and provision remain key indicators of commitment.
Honeypot also shared her views on affection, explaining that intimacy is not limited to sex alone. She described acts such as kissing, cuddling, and playful physical closeness as important expressions of love and bonding between partners.
“There is kissing, there is cuddling and there is biting,” she said. “Biting is a form of affection.”
When presented with a hypothetical choice between a wealthy man with poor bedroom performance and a physically fit man with strong sexual skills, Honeypot maintained her stance, reiterating that sex is not a deciding factor for her in relationships.
Her comments have since generated mixed reactions online, with many applauding her honesty while others debated her views on intimacy and cultural expectations.
