Sola Ogudugu, the mother of Wizkid’s first son, Boluwatife Balogun, has kicked off the new month with heartfelt gratitude and reflections on their inspiring journey.

Taking to her Instagram page, Sola shared beautiful photos of herself and her fast-growing son while expressing deep appreciation for how far life has brought them.

Captioning the photos, she wrote:

“December already!!! Grateful for how far we’ve come, Thankful for the love and support, Excited for what’s ahead. 📸: @lumigraphy__.”

Her emotional post stirred reactions from fans and well-wishers who flooded her comment section with praise and admiration. One user, invxrot_ys, wrote, “Tife we are proud of you.” Another commenter, litvybez, added, “Only the beginning.” Echoing the same sentiment, champzsignal also wrote, “Only the beginning.” A fan identified as fufunnimi commented, “Oluwanishola, take your flowers,” while nickie_dabarbie noticed Bolu’s growth, saying, “Taller than her already?” More tributes poured in with comments like “Real great mother” and “Best mum.”

This online celebration follows Boluwatife’s impressive music debut in November, which created massive buzz across social media. The young star released his EP, Champion Arrival, and within five hours, it debuted at No. 1 on major music platforms. Reports also show the EP charting in 16 countries on Apple Music and peaking at No. 71 on the UK Apple Music Top Albums chart—earning Boluwatife the title of the youngest African artist to top the Apple Music Nigeria Albums Chart.

Even his superstar father, Wizkid, proudly acknowledged his son’s achievement during a Knicks Game in New York. When asked about Bolu’s debut, he said with a smile that Boluwatife is his son and expressed genuine love for the EP.

Sola also celebrated the milestone, saying they “did it,” while appreciating everyone who streamed the project. Earlier in May, Boluwatife delighted fans when he posted a video of his mum giving him driving lessons, further showing the beautiful bond they share.
