Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has taken her public dispute with Pastor Chris Okafor, founder of the Mountain of Liberation and Miracle Ministry, to a new and more controversial level by calling for the intervention of Nigeria’s Department of State Services (DSS).

Her latest comments, which have since sparked intense debate online, include explosive allegations linked to the church and events surrounding its construction.

In a strongly worded statement that has gone viral across social media platforms and entertainment blogs, Ogala alleged that security authorities should investigate activities within the church, making reference to a tragic incident during its construction and an alleged attempt to silence a blogger.

She stated: “DSS should go to that church and open his altar. I wouldn’t say further than that. When they were building that place, that place collapsed, somebody d!£d. Apart from somebody dy.!ng, there is a blogger that found something on the ground. This man was begging, he called me and asked me what he could do to let the blogger close his mouth...”

The actress’s remarks have reignited public interest in the long-running feud between herself and the controversial cleric. While the exact origin of their disagreement remains unclear, the conflict has played out publicly over time, with accusations, counter-accusations, and emotional outbursts dominating social media conversations. Ogala’s decision to mention the DSS has raised the stakes, shifting the narrative from celebrity drama to a matter many now view as bordering on national security and public safety concerns.

Within hours of her comments circulating online, reactions poured in from fans, critics, and religious observers. Some Nigerians have called for a thorough investigation into the claims, emphasizing that allegations involving loss of life and suppression of information should not be ignored. Others, however, have urged caution, stressing the need for verified facts rather than emotionally charged statements made during personal disputes.

As of now, neither Pastor Chris Okafor nor the Mountain of Liberation and Miracle Ministry has issued an official response addressing the allegations or the call for DSS involvement. The Department of State Services has also remained silent on whether it plans to take action.

With the controversy gaining momentum, this unfolding drama continues to dominate entertainment news in Nigeria, blurring the line between celebrity conflict, religious leadership scrutiny, and national discourse on accountability.
