Controversial social media activist, VeryDarkMan, has announced that he has successfully recovered the ₦3 million he previously claimed was fraudulently taken from his NGO funds by a borehole drilling company.
IThe outspoken activist, known for exposing corruption and confronting malpractice, shared the latest update after days of intense online conversation surrounding the alleged scam.
According to VeryDarkMan, the saga began when he contracted a company identified as DESCO to drill a borehole as part of his NGO’s community support initiative. He said he made a full payment of ₦3 million, only for the company to allegedly disappear shortly afterward. In his earlier statements, the activist insisted that DESCO “scammed him” and stopped responding to his calls, prompting him to take the matter public.
In a new update shared across his social media pages, VDM confirmed that the funds had finally been returned. He stated that the money was “traced and recovered,” adding that a prominent political figure, Hon. Jibrin, played a role in ensuring the refund was made.
While he did not go into full detail about the behind-the-scenes process, the activist made it clear that the intervention was instrumental in securing the return of the ₦3 million.
The recovery of the funds appears to bring an end to the conflict between VeryDarkMan and the borehole drilling company. However, many of his followers are still demanding explanations from DESCO regarding why communication was abruptly cut off and why the refund only happened after the issue gained public attention.
With the matter now resolved, VDM emphasized that his commitment to transparency, accountability, and public service remains intact. His latest victory reinforces his reputation as an activist who does not hesitate to call out alleged misconduct, especially when it involves funds meant for humanitarian projects.
