Former beauty queen Precious Chikwendu, who was once married to politician Femi Fani-Kayode, has spoken out amid the growing controversy surrounding Regina Daniels and her husband, billionaire senator Ned Nwoko.
Taking to her Instagram Story, Precious expressed deep concern over the alleged emotional turmoil Regina is currently facing in her marriage. She praised the young actress for the doors she opened for others during her time as a wife and questioned why no one — especially the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) — has come forward to support her.
“Regina Daniels opened doors to lots of people during her time as a wife, where are everyone at this moment when everyone should stand with her? Ndi Actors Guild and co? I know every inch of her emotions, and she is way too young for this experience,” she wrote.
The mother of four further condemned Ned Nwoko’s alleged treatment of Regina, describing it as “narcissistic and vicious.”
“Why torture a person you swore to love and protect? This is all shades of narcissistic and vicious. Breaking her only makes her stronger because she is going through everything she was once scared of. After this stage comes a woman who is afraid of nothing,” Precious added.
Meanwhile, Nigerian singer Jaywon also weighed in on the issue, criticizing Regina Daniels’ inner circle. According to him, the kind of posts Regina has been sharing online reflect a lack of maturity and self-awareness. He lamented that those close to her seem more interested in benefiting from her fame rather than guiding her honestly.
Legendary musician Charly Boy joined the conversation, urging the couple to resolve their marital dispute privately. He questioned why both parties were bringing their personal matters to the public, warning that social media is not the right place to “wash dirty linen.”
“Why bring private issues to social media, forming either a victim or a saint? Settle privately,” Charly Boy advised.
