Actress Nkechi Blessing has once again become a topic of conversation on social media after unveiling a glimpse of her new romantic partner.
The Nollywood star took to Instagram to post a photo of herself with an unidentified man, deliberately concealing his face while showing only his back. In her caption, Nkechi expressed deep affection for him, hinting that their relationship might be headed toward something serious.
“Each time I look into your eyes, all I see is LOVE. Thank you for coming into my life and making everything beautiful. Counting down to Ourlovestory2025,” she wrote.
Her latest post comes shortly after her former boyfriend, Xxssive, shared a loved-up video with his new partner, fuelling speculation that both ex-lovers are eager to show they’ve moved on.
Earlier in the week, Nkechi had fired back at a social media user who mocked her for not being married. She questioned why people felt the need to attack her personal life just because she is in the public eye.
According to her, celebrities often endure unprovoked criticism, including age and marriage shaming, even though they are ordinary humans with emotions.
In March, the actress announced her separation from Xxssive via Instagram, stating that there was no animosity between them and that they simply decided to part ways.
Nkechi’s romance with content creator Eseoghene Obire, better known as Xxssive, began in 2021 following the end of her relationship with Ekiti politician Opeyemi Falegan.
Speaking in a past episode of her podcast, the actress revealed that she has never dated anyone wealthier than herself, noting that she has always been financially independent.
“I have never dated anyone who was more financially stable than I am, and I’ve always taken care of myself. I’ve dated down three times, and I’m not doing that again,” she said.
