Nollywood stars Ibrahim Suleiman and Ihuoma Linda Ejiofor are celebrating seven beautiful years of marriage, and the couple took to social media to mark their milestone with touching love notes that melted hearts online.
Taking the lead, Ibrahim shared a deeply emotional tribute to his wife, revealing that God brought Linda into his life when he had completely given up on relationships. He expressed gratitude for her unwavering love and support through his toughest moments, calling her his “priority, mission, and goal.”
“Just when I was SURE I was done with relationships entirely, God said, ‘Now you’re ready for the gift I’ve been saving up for you,’ and you stood next to me and laughed at a silly thing I thought out loud. In hindsight, that was the moment I knew your weird matched my weird,” Ibrahim wrote.
“Thank you, Baby, for walking with me through the darkest time of my life and helping me find my laughter again just by listening to yours. One thing that defines these 7 years? Belly laughs. How easily laughter comes to us. Thank you for being the secure, confident, soft, incredible woman you are. You are my priority. You are my mission. You are my goal. It feels like 7 months. Mad o. Meanwhile, his wife Linda Ejiofor-Suleiman, who is also an award-winning Nollywood actress, penned her own message of love and gratitude. She thanked God for blessing her with a man who has brought peace, laughter, and stability into her life, describing him as her “answered prayer” and “calm place.”
“Seven years of loving you, learning you, laughing with you, and thanking God for placing you in my life at the exact moment my heart needed you. You are truly the best thing that has ever happened to me,” she wrote.
“Sometimes I look at you and think, God really took His time, added a little extra favour, sprinkled patience, and then said, ‘Here, Linda, don’t say I never did anything for you.’ I can’t imagine doing life with anyone else. You’re my answered prayer, my calm place, my partner in every silly moment, and the one person who can make me laugh even when I’m pretending to be annoyed. Seven years down, a lifetime to go. If this is what forever looks like, count me in every single time.”
The celebrity couple, who tied the knot in 2018, have continued to serve fans major couple goals with their chemistry, humor, and public display of affection — proving that love in Nollywood can truly last.
