Controversial entertainer Peller has sparked massive reactions online after accusing his partner, Jarvis, of allegedly getting rich through money laundering schemes on TikTok.
According to Peller, Jarvis collaborated with individuals who used the short-form video app to clean illegal funds by sending her virtual gifts. He alleged that the gifts were part of a money laundering ring, and Jarvis received a 50 percent share of the illicit proceeds.
“When Jarvis came to Lagos, I thought she had more money than me, not knowing she was into money laundering,” Peller said in a viral post. “People were gifting her on TikTok to launder money, then they split the earnings 50/50 afterwards.”
Peller also claimed that he had been unaware of her activities until recently, adding that he initially admired her perceived financial success when they first met. The revelation, however, has since caused a social media storm, with fans and followers divided over who to believe.
In her response, Jarvis fired back with her own accusations, claiming that Peller had subjected her to physical abuse. She alleged that he once attempted to attack her during a heated argument, prompting her to flee for safety.
“Justice for Jarvis would have been trending if I hadn’t run for my life,” she said, adding that she had alerted her staff to be cautious around Peller following the incident.
The messy fallout between the duo has since trended on social media platforms, with supporters of both sides sharing contrasting opinions. Some online users accused Peller of trying to destroy Jarvis’s reputation out of jealousy, while others urged authorities to investigate the money laundering allegations.
Meanwhile, Peller reportedly listed certain “rules and regulations” that must be followed if any form of reconciliation between them is to take place. He, however, did not disclose further details about the alleged conditions.
The saga has reignited conversations about the growing number of questionable financial activities linked to online gifting systems on social media platforms like TikTok.
Some analysts warn that these features can easily be exploited to disguise illicit transactions, particularly when high-value digital gifts are exchanged frequently.
As of the time of this report, neither Jarvis nor Peller has provided additional evidence to support their claims.
The situation remains a hot topic across Nigerian online spaces, with fans eagerly awaiting more updates from both parties.
