Nollywood actress Biola Bayo is going through a difficult period after suddenly losing access to all her Instagram accounts. The actress, known for her strong presence both personally and in business, revealed the unsettling development in a video posted on her backup page, where she explained what led to the disappearance of her pages.
According to Biola, every one of her Instagram accounts — including her main profile and multiple business pages — has been deactivated. She disclosed that the accounts were taken down following a series of repeated reports from unknown individuals targeting her online presence.
While addressing those responsible, the actress expressed both disappointment and spiritual confidence, making it clear that their actions were not just directed at her but at a higher authority. “People were reportedly my account repeatedly. You aren’t fighting me, you are fighting God. That’s all I want you to know,” she declared firmly. Despite the setback, she held on to hope, adding, “I am positive that by God’s grace, we will get it retrieved.”
Biola extended warm wishes to her followers, writing, “Happy Sunday to you all!” before listing the affected accounts, which include Biolabayo1, Royalfoodmart, Talktob Podcast, and Jewelrybyb. She urged fans and supporters to follow her temporary backup page, @biolaadebayo_backup, until her main accounts can be restored. She ended with a note of faith and calm, signing off with “SHALOM!”
This latest episode adds to a string of challenges the actress has endured in recent months. Just last week, Biola voiced her frustration regarding the high cost of aso-ebi. She revealed that she had been invited to eight major events scheduled before the end of the year, noting that the combined cost of the aso-ebi fabric alone was approaching N2 million. According to her, the pressure had become unbearable. She openly stated that she could no longer keep up with the expenses and had decided to stop buying new aso-ebi outfits, choosing instead to re-wear what she already owned.
In another recent incident, the actress opened up about reporting her assistant to the authorities after discovering that the woman had been stealing from her. Reflecting on the unfortunate betrayal, the mother of one explained that she prefers not to dwell on people’s shortcomings. She emphasized that no matter how sincerely one tries to help or satisfy others, it is impossible to meet people’s expectations perfectly.
Biola’s challenges have not been limited to the present year. A year ago, she recounted a deeply emotional moment that left her overwhelmed with sadness.
