Nollywood actress Dayo Amusa has released the full details of her private Instagram conversations with colleague Lizzy Anjorin, revealing how what began as a warm congratulatory message suddenly turned into accusations and tension. The actress shared screenshots to clarify the events surrounding the birth of her child and why she chose to distance herself from Lizzy.
According to the leaked chat, Lizzy Anjorin first reached out on November 20th, sliding into Dayo Amusa’s DM to congratulate her on the arrival of her newborn. Lizzy reportedly expressed joy over the baby’s birth and even asked how they could celebrate the good news. In response, Dayo informed her that the naming ceremony would hold the following Monday. Lizzy replied briefly, “Okay, dear.”
A week later, on November 27th, Lizzy messaged again, stating that she would check up on Dayo on Sunday—just a day before the naming ceremony. But things quickly took a different turn. After the polite exchanges, Lizzy allegedly initiated a new conversation, accusing Dayo of associating with controversial blogger Esabod. She claimed that Dayo was “leading people to Esabod’s platform to drag” her and suggested that Dayo had a hand in online attacks against her.
Dayo Amusa strongly denied the allegations. She explained that she does not involve herself in social media drama and prefers to maintain a peaceful, private life. In her lengthy response on November 29th, she wrote:
**“You said I lead people to Esabod’s platform to drag you when you had your child. When was that, how??? Have you ever seen or heard about me involving or associating myself in all you guys’ social media fracas???
I value my small circle and my peaceful personal space… I just don’t want your fracas family using your visitation as an opportunity to disturb my peace. My warm regards to your hubby and kids❤️.”
According to Dayo, several messages between November 27th and 29th were deleted by Lizzy before she continued the conversation. After Dayo’s firm response, Lizzy allegedly sent more messages, prompting Dayo to respond with a voice note.
The actress concluded by warning fans, “Believe Lizzy Anjorin at your own risk.”
