Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, better known as Odumodublvck, has opened up about the role his girlfriend has played in his life, describing her as a divine gift and his greatest support system.

Speaking on a recent episode of the Thoughts In A Culli podcast, the “Declan Rice” crooner expressed deep gratitude for meeting his girlfriend long before fame and fortune came his way.

According to him, she has been with him through his struggles and has remained his closest companion even after his rise to stardom.

“My girlfriend is the closest person to me. My girlfriend is my everything. When the Bible said you find a good thing when you find a good woman… She is my everything. She is literally my life. I trust her so much,” Odumodublvck said passionately.

He went further to describe her as his best friend and the one person who truly understands him beyond the glamour of his music career. “She is my friend. Aside from the fact that we love each other, she is my n*gga. God blessed me with that one. He gave me that one as a gift, a consolation from all the troubles of my life… I’m lucky I met her before I had money,” he added.

Odumodublvck’s heartfelt revelation has sparked admiration among fans who see his relationship as a rare example of love built on genuine connection rather than material success.

Many social media users praised the rapper for openly appreciating his partner and showing that loyalty and sincerity still exist in the entertainment industry.

The rapper, known for blending hip-hop and Afro-fusion sounds, has often spoken about staying grounded despite his growing fame. In an earlier interview on Apple Music’s Africa Now Radio, Odumodublvck revealed that his song “Banza Boy” was inspired by his girlfriend and her friends.

He explained that the song celebrates women who are confident, financially independent, and unapologetically self-assured.

According to him, “Banza Boy” is not just a song but an anthem for women who embody strength, resilience, and class. “I wanted to make music that uplifts women who don’t depend on men for validation or money. My girlfriend and her friends represent that energy,” he said.

Odumodublvck has continued to make headlines for his outspoken nature and raw honesty both in interviews and on social media. Known for his signature red cap and bold lyrics, he often emphasizes originality and authenticity in an industry he describes as “a battleground.”

Meanwhile, the rapper’s name has been in the news recently following his ongoing hip-hop rivalry with fellow artist Blaqbonez, with some industry figures like Zlatan Ibile and Erigga calling for peace. Zlatan even jokingly proposed organizing a boxing match between the two to settle their differences.

Despite the controversies, Odumodublvck’s recent comments about love and loyalty have given fans a softer glimpse of his personality one that values genuine relationships over fame or fortune.

His words reflect a man who remains deeply connected to his roots and appreciative of those who stood by him before the spotlight found him.
