Regina Daniels’ father, Jude Ojegwu, has broken his silence, revealing the pain and disappointment he felt when his then-18-year-old daughter decided to marry 70-year-old billionaire and politician, Ned Nwoko.
Ojegwu expressed his heartbreak over the union, explaining that he never supported Regina’s decision to marry a man much older than him. According to him, he felt ashamed watching his own daughter get married to someone old enough to be her grandfather. He maintained that his opposition to the marriage was not out of hatred but out of genuine concern for Regina’s future and happiness.

In his words, he stated that when Regina informed him about her plans to marry Ned Nwoko, he advised her that there was more to life than marrying for wealth or influence. He emphasized that marrying a man older than her father was morally wrong and emotionally risky. Unfortunately, his advice was met with strong resistance from Rita Daniels, Regina’s mother, who allegedly branded him “an enemy of progress” and even “wished him death.”
Feeling disrespected and powerless, Ojegwu decided to step back and let Regina follow her own path. He refused to attend the wedding due to anger and disappointment but later accepted that she was already an adult capable of making her own choices.
Now, as reports of crisis and alleged domestic issues in the marriage surface online, Jude Ojegwu says he is not surprised. He revealed that he foresaw trouble in the marriage and only hopes his daughter finds peace and emotional stability in her home.
