Associate Senior Pastor of Fountain of Life Church, Tolu Odukoya, has confirmed that her marriage has come to an end, revealing the news in a video that has since gone viral on social media. The candid revelation has sparked widespread discussion among followers and well-wishers alike.
In an emotional interview with Truthtable, Pastor Tolu, who is also the sister of actor and pastor Jimmy Odukoya, shared that she and her ex-husband have been separated since 2021. Reflecting on the past ten years of her life, Pastor Tolu opened up about the immense personal challenges she has faced.
“I’ll say I’m separated. Most of you don’t know I’m separated and that’s actually defined or has shaped my life. It was circumstances beyond my control. You know, sometimes when you get into marriage, you don't do so to leave. It is a death in a way.
When your marriage is over, it is a death. In the last ten years, I've experienced the death of my marriage, my stepmother, my dad's twin sister, and my father,” she said.
She further described the heartbreak and realities of marriage, stressing the importance of divine timing and guidance in relationships.
“My ex-husband is a great man… but if God doesn’t ordain you guys to be together and you force-fit yourselves, the likelihood of staying together is very low,” Pastor Tolu explained. Her words struck a chord with many viewers, highlighting the delicate balance between love, faith, and destiny.
Pastor Tolu also reflected on the unpredictability of life, admitting that her journey has not gone according to plan.
“My life is not an easy one; it has not gone the way I planned it,” she said, offering a glimpse into the struggles and resilience that have defined her path.
