Popular Nollywood actress and controversial brand influencer Nkechi Blessing recently broke down in tears after critics allegedly sabotaged one of her sponsored adverts. According to the actress, a loyal fan had proudly shared the advert on their social media page to support her, but haters quickly reported it until it was taken down.
Visibly emotional, Nkechi broke down in tears as she expressed her frustration over the constant hatred directed at her. She explained that many critics dislike her because she once promoted adult products, including a dildo, but she insisted that her career as a brand influencer should not be destroyed because of that.
In her words: “I have always been one of the pioneers of brand influencing in this industry. I broke down in tears today because I don’t understand the hatred. I have never offended anyone personally, yet people go as far as sabotaging my brand and discouraging those who support me.”
The actress further revealed that despite being suspended from Nollywood acting, she has successfully built her name and excelled in the business of brand influencing. “Despite being suspended from acting, I have managed to excel and build a successful career for myself,” Nkechi added, noting that her progress is often met with envy and unnecessary attacks.
In an emotional outburst, Nkechi placed curses on those tarnishing her image and working against her success. She lamented that her critics appear determined to see her fail, but she promised they would not succeed. “Anyone working against me and trying to destroy my progress will face the consequences of their actions,” she declared.
The incident has since sparked mixed reactions on social media. While some fans sympathized with her, applauding her resilience and honesty, others argued that Nkechi’s bold and outspoken personality continues to fuel controversies around her career.
