Media personality and actress Destiny Amaka has opened up about the growing challenges faced by “intentional women” in today’s dating scene, describing modern relationships as increasingly transactional and emotionally disappointing.

In an Instagram story, Destiny expressed her frustration with men who expect intimacy in exchange for basic gestures like taking a woman out. She stressed that giving away affection too early prevents the development of real chemistry and meaningful connections.

“A lot of men have lost the art of being a gentleman. Imagine taking a woman out and thinking the least she owes you is a kiss? Dating isn’t supposed to feel like a transaction,” Destiny wrote.

The media personality further highlighted the difficulty of finding men who are intentional, intelligent, respectful, and supportive. “The streets are rough for us intentional women oh!” she lamented.

Destiny also shared that she never expects from a man what she cannot give herself and can easily recognize men who are only seeking physical intimacy. She advised men to treat women with the same respect they would afford their mothers and sisters. “You can’t say you want a good woman but expect her to be loose, it doesn’t blend. If that’s what you’re after, there are places for that,” she noted.
