Temi Otedola trends as “she include her husband’s name without dropping Otedola”

Nigerian actress Temi Otedola, daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola, has now adopted her husband’s surname Ajibade following her marriage to singer Oluwatosin Ajibade, better known as Mr Eazi.

The couple, who announced their engagement back in April 2022, marked their union with a series of private wedding celebrations across three countries. The festivities began in Monaco on May 9, a date chosen in honour of Mr Eazi’s late mother’s birthday. They later hosted a traditional Yoruba wedding at the Otedola family residence in Dubai before sealing it with a white wedding ceremony in Iceland this past August.

On Instagram, Temi’s display name still reflects her father’s family name, while her username now reads Temiloluwa Ajibade. Her decision to publicly include her husband’s surname has stirred conversation online, with many social media users applauding her move despite the weight carried by the Otedola name.
