Paris Saint-Germain winger Ousmane Dembélé has been crowned the 2025 Ballon d’Or winner, capping off a remarkable year in his football journey.
The French star edged out Barcelona’s teenage sensation Lamine Yamal to secure the top honour. The trophy was handed to him on Monday night at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris by Brazilian legend Ronaldinho.
Dembélé succeeds Manchester City’s Rodri, who won the prize last year ahead of Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior.
On the women’s side, Barcelona’s midfield maestro Aitana Bonmatí once again proved her dominance, finishing ahead of Arsenal pair Mariona Caldentey and Alessia Russo.
The night also celebrated several other standout performers:
