Marriage is often described as a mix of sweet moments and occasional disagreements, but for the husband of Nollywood actress Debbie Shokoya, those little quarrels have become part of the beauty of his union. Speaking candidly, he shared how much he misses his wife since she traveled, noting that life has felt unusually dull without her presence.
According to him, quarrels inside marriage should not always be seen as negative, because sometimes they bring couples closer. He explained that he and his wife argue several times a day, yet they always resolve their differences before the day ends. In his words:
“Since my wife traveled, I’ve realized how boring life is without someone to argue with every minute. Normally, me and my wife can fight 30 times in a day and still resolve 30 times before night falls.”
He went on to emphasize that even though constant corrections and disagreements can be tiring for some, they are part of the love language in his home. He revealed that his wife never hesitates to call him to order, correcting him on the little things that matter in marriage.
“I miss hearing those constant corrections—‘Ade, apologize!’ … ‘Ade, be organized!’ … ‘Ade this, Ade that!’ Honestly, I miss my wife dearly, even our little fights.”
The heartfelt confession has sparked admiration online, with many praising Debbie Shokoya’s husband for openly appreciating his wife’s role in his life. His statement highlights a deeper truth about marriage—disagreements are inevitable, but what truly matters is the ability to resolve them with love and respect.
By celebrating even their quarrels, the couple sets an example for others, showing that communication, forgiveness, and understanding can strengthen marital bonds. For Debbie Shokoya and her husband, love is not just found in peace but also in the playful arguments that make their relationship unique.
