Nigerian comedian and skitmaker, Nosa Afolabi, popularly known as Lasisi Elenu, and his actress wife, Nonso Adika, are set to welcome a baby boy, as the couple joyfully revealed their child’s gender in a fun-filled video.
Kemi Filani reported last month that the couple was expecting their second child. At the time, Lasisi, in his signature comic style, joked that his wife had “lost her guard” and got pregnant again.
He also playfully urged diaper and baby formula brands to reach out, as they were about to gain a new loyal customer.
While the couple teased fans last week with clips from their gender reveal without disclosing the outcome, they finally confirmed the news in a joint Instagram post. In the video, Lasisi could be seen excitedly announcing: “It’s a boy! Sinzu Money Jr is coming!!”
The revelation was accompanied by laughter, dance, and the lighthearted charm both are known for, further endearing them to fans who flooded their comment section with congratulatory messages.
Actor Bolanle Ninalowo joked under the post, writing: “You don born Yahoo boy las las. God bless the addition and family, brother.” Skitmaker Brain Jotter simply commented, “Olorioko,” while actress Tomike added, “Congratulations, my people.” Nollywood star Ruth Kadiri also left a string of love emojis to celebrate with the couple.
Other fans joined in, with one user writing: “Papa and mama Benji. Benji – Sinzu Jr finally!” while another gushed: “Wow, congratulations!”
