Nigerian singer Jaywon has raised alarm over the worsening security situation in Kogi State, after five people—including three policemen and two vigilantes—were reportedly killed within a single day.
Sharing his frustration on Instagram on Wednesday, Jaywon criticized the apparent inaction of law enforcement, asking, “This is no longer funny in Kogi State.
“In the last 24 hours, 5 people—3 policemen and 2 vigilantes—have been killed, yet @nigeriapoliceforce remains silent. How many lives must go before action is taken?”
His post underscores growing public concern over safety in the state and calls attention to the urgent need for authorities to step up and restore order.
