Nollywood actress Annie Idibia has opened up about her deepest hopes for her daughters, stressing the importance of self-worth and resilience.
Taking to her Instagram story, the mother of two shared some of her favorite quotes, reflecting on life, healing, and the lessons she wishes her girls would embrace.
In one post, Annie expressed heartfelt wishes that her daughters never settle for less than they deserve, unlike some of the struggles she endured.
"I hope my daughter doesn’t accept things I’ve accepted, that she knows her worth from the start and knows that no matter what, she always has me in her corner.”
In another emotional message, the actress highlighted her personal battles and the freedom she has fought hard to enjoy.
“If you see me happy these days, let me be.
I fought battles you’ll never know just to feel this free.”
Annie Idibia also emphasized the importance of healing and growth, noting that every pain she has overcome has become a source of strength.
“I don’t revisit what I healed from.
Every wound she ever survived became another jewel in her crown.”
This comes weeks after Annie threw subtle shade at her ex-husband, indirectly tagging him a deadbeat father when she celebrated other celebrity dads such as Peter Okoye, Cole Peter, and Andilen Cube—pointedly excluding him.
Back in July, the Nollywood star also hinted at turning a new chapter in her life, stating that she simply “archives and moves on.”
