Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has finally reacted after Emeka Ugwuonye, the former lawyer of May Edochie, claimed in a viral video that Yul Edochie’s estranged wife pressured the police to have her arrested.
In the trending footage, Emeka alleged that May Edochie had “mounted serious pressure” on law enforcement authorities to apprehend Sarah Martins.
Sarah, who was once close to Judy Austin, Yul’s second wife, fell out with her and later faced backlash for openly criticising May. In 2023, this tension escalated into a ₦500 million lawsuit against Sarah.
Emeka, who has been clashing with May online in recent weeks, disclosed that he personally filed the petition against Sarah on May’s behalf. He further claimed that May was insistent on Sarah’s arrest, but the police reportedly questioned her determination and urgency on the issue.
Sarah Martins Replies Emeka Ugwuonye
Reacting to the controversial revelation, Sarah Martins took to Instagram where she reposted the video, warning Emeka not to drag her into his ongoing feud with May Edochie.
Surprisingly, Sarah declared her loyalty to May, stating that she is now a staunch supporter of Yul’s estranged wife.
In her words, Sarah wrote:
“Bia oga lawyer, ejim chukwu ayo gi… keep my peaceful name off your mouth sir. I am now a QUEEN MAY FAN and I won’t allow you instigate me against her. Your manipulative tricks won’t work on me…. Leave that woman alone! Get new clients and move on!!!”
