Thousands gathered in Arizona on Sunday, September 22, 2025, to honor the late Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, in a memorial service that drew an estimated 200,000 attendees.

He further called Kirk a martyr for American liberty, stating that his message “will resonate even louder in death than it had in his short life.” Trump recounted the tragic day of Kirk’s passing on September 10, 2025, emphasizing that history would not forget his contributions.
Due to the overwhelming turnout, additional attendees were directed to the adjacent Desert Diamond Arena, which has a capacity of 20,000. Security officials and event organizers confirmed that roughly 200,000 people attended, making it one of the largest memorial gatherings in recent times.
