Victory and Gigi Jasmine have become the fifth and sixth housemates to leave the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) ‘Ten Over Ten’ house after receiving the lowest votes of the week. The live eviction took place on Sunday night, marking another dramatic twist in the reality show.
Earlier in the week, Big Brother challenged all housemates—except Head of House Zita—to find a red envelope containing an immunity card. None of the contestants succeeded, which automatically placed them up for eviction. Zita, who picked a card from the ‘tree of trinkets,’ was then given the power to save two housemates, and she chose Faith and Mensan. Jason Jae also secured immunity for being named the most influential housemate of the week.
This season of BBNaija kicked off with a two-day opening ceremony, introducing the female housemates on July 26 and the male housemates on July 27, bringing the total to 29 participants. So far, Danboskid and Ibifubara were the first to exit, followed by Otega and Kayinkunmi, while Sabrina left due to medical reasons.
The grand prize for this edition is a record-breaking N150 million, making it the largest in the show’s history since its debut in 2006.
