Nigerian singer Oluwatosin Ajibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi, and Nigerian model and actress Temi Otedola have officially tied the knot in a romantic private wedding in Iceland.
While the exact date of the wedding remains undisclosed, viral clips circulating online show the couple exchanging vows at the iconic Hallgrimskirkja Church in Reykjavik, Iceland. According to reports, the stunning venue was beautifully decorated with fresh flowers and closed to the public to ensure an intimate atmosphere.
Only close family members and friends were in attendance. Videos online captured Nana Otedola (Temi’s mother) and her sister, DJ Cuppy, elegantly leaving the church in eye-catching outfits.
Adding to the buzz, comedian and skitmaker Brodashaggi hinted at the special occasion when he shared Instagram clips featuring himself with Mr Eazi and Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, enjoying time together in Iceland.
This wedding comes more than two years after Mr Eazi proposed to Temi on Sunday, April 10, 2022. Speaking on why she said “yes,” Temi revealed: “I felt a sense of peace with him, like I had found my soulmate, and I had never felt it with anyone else.”*
In a past interview, the couple disclosed their preference for a small wedding: *“We would love to have only family members attend, with no more than ten people.”*
The newlyweds’ choice of a serene Icelandic backdrop reflects their desire for a private yet unforgettable celebration.
