Nigerian crossdresser and social media personality, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has stirred up a fresh conversation online after advising married men to think twice before cheating on their wives.
His caution came with a specific reference a Kenyan woman, Hellen Ati, who has been publicly involved in a paternity dispute with Nigerian socialite, Cubana Chief Priest.
Bobrisky shared his advice via a post on social media, telling men who are tempted to stray from their marriages to either use protection or avoid extra-marital encounters entirely.
According to him, the alternative could lead to an unwanted situation similar to the ongoing saga between Hellen Ati and Cubana Chief Priest.
Hellen Ati has, for several years, maintained that the celebrity barman impregnated her after what she described as a one-night encounter.
She claims that he has refused to take responsibility for their son and has repeatedly called him out on social media, urging him to take a DNA test. Despite her persistent public appeals, the matter remains unresolved.
In his post, Bobrisky implied that men risk long-term trouble when they engage in unprotected affairs with women they barely know.
“Before you cheat on your wife, please remember Helen,” he wrote, stressing that men should think ahead to avoid scandals, public embarrassment, and possible legal or financial consequences. He added that it was better for them not to “go close to any woman at all” if they were not prepared for such potential outcomes.
Bobrisky’s comments have since generated a wave of reactions online, with some social media users interpreting his statement as an indirect swipe at Cubana Chief Priest, while others saw it as genuine advice to married men.
The backstory involving Hellen Ati has been one of the more publicised celebrity disputes in recent years. She has built a steady online presence, often using her platform to highlight her grievances and challenge Cubana Chief Priest to acknowledge the child.
Her repeated calls for a DNA test have attracted both supporters and critics, making the dispute a trending topic multiple times.
Bobrisky’s blunt delivery has, as usual, sparked a mix of praise and criticism. Supporters argued that his advice carried an important moral lesson for men who engage in risky behaviour outside their marriages.
Critics, however, accused him of hypocrisy, suggesting that many of his relationships involve married men, and therefore he was in no position to lecture others.
The online comments section following the post reflected this divide, with some hailing it as “good advice” and others dismissing it as a publicity stunt.
One commenter sarcastically suggested that married men should “cheat with Bobrisky” since pregnancy wouldn’t be a concern, while another described Hellen as “a very important case study” for men to learn from.
Whether intended as serious guidance or tongue-in-cheek commentary, Bobrisky’s message once again placed him at the centre of a social media storm.
The saga of Hellen Ati and Cubana Chief Priest continues to draw public attention, and with personalities like Bobrisky weighing in, it is unlikely the conversation will fade anytime soon.
