A Nigerian man identified as Raphael Osaretin has taken to social media to cry out for help and advice after discovering that his wife has been unfaithful. According to Raphael, the shocking revelation came just weeks after his wedding, leaving him devastated and questioning the foundation of his marriage.
Sharing his ordeal, Raphael revealed that he got married on June 14, 2025, with hopes of building a happy and peaceful home. However, his world came crashing down when he discovered that his wife had been involved in an affair that started even before their marriage and continued afterwards.
In his emotional outburst, Raphael said:
“I got married on June 14, 2025. I just discovered that my wife has been unfaithful. This affair actually started before I even came into the picture and sadly, it has continued even after our marriage. Since I found out, my life has turned upside down. I can’t sleep, I can’t think straight and I keep asking myself why someone will knowingly destroy both her own home and another woman’s home.”
The distressed husband further lamented that what makes the betrayal even more painful is the fact that his wife portrays herself as a committed church worker, creating an image of faithfulness and morality, while secretly engaging in infidelity.
Raphael added:
“To make matters worse, she presents herself as a committed church worker, which makes the betrayal even more painful. I am broken and disappointed. Nigerians, how do I handle this?”
He went on to allege that the man his wife has been cheating with is also married, thereby compounding the marital crisis and dragging another family into the scandal. Raphael shared that he has a picture of the man, which he posted on the third slide of his post.
The story has since sparked heated reactions online, with many Nigerians sympathizing with him while others advised him to seek counsel, make careful decisions, and protect his mental health during this difficult time.
This shocking case of marital infidelity in Nigeria has once again raised questions about trust, deception, and the challenges facing modern marriages.
