American rapper, Offset, has revealed he has no plans to ever walk down the aisle again following his highly publicized split from Cardi B.

The 33-year-old made this known during his appearance on the August 22 edition of the Full Send Podcast, where he candidly spoke about his views on marriage and why he believes his chapter with matrimony is permanently closed.

Offset, who married Cardi B in September 2017, admitted that he considers his marriage experience “a mission complete.”

The couple, whose union was filled with highs, lows, and public controversies, share three children together  Kulture, 7, Wave, 3, and Blossom, born in September 2024, just two months after Cardi filed for divorce in July of that year.

Speaking on the podcast, Offset was asked directly by host Kyle Forgeard if he would ever consider remarrying. The Bad and Boujee hitmaker responded with certainty: “It’s simply not for me. I’ve done it. Had three kids with it. It’s like a mission that’s been complete.”

When Forgeard, who is younger than Offset, expressed his desire to experience marriage someday, the rapper doubled down on his stance, explaining that while marriage is a personal journey, his own experience has left him convinced it is not something he wants to repeat. “You see, I experienced it so I’ve already done it,” Offset said. He further added that while others may find fulfillment in marriage, for him, “everything is temporary.”

Offset also shared that he wouldn’t advise others to jump into marriage, especially if they are still building their careers or not ready for the level of life adjustments that come with it.

“I would say, unless you’re cool with changing your life entirely… you got a partner that’s different. Especially when it’s written and it’s a real thing. Like, is this partner’s different?” he questioned.

Reflecting on his own journey, Offset admitted he doesn’t see the possibility of having his “happily ever after” with someone new, stressing that his outlook on relationships has shifted. He said, “I wouldn’t tell you to get married while you’re busy working on your career. It’s a life-changer.”

The rapper has also expressed his emotions through music. His latest album KIARI closes with a track he confirmed was inspired by the painful end of his relationship with Cardi B.

Offset’s declaration marks yet another chapter in the rollercoaster love story that once captivated fans worldwide. Cardi B had initially filed for divorce in 2020 before reconciling with him, but the 2024 separation seems to have ended their marriage for good.

While Cardi has yet to comment on his latest remarks, fans continue to speculate on how the split will affect both artists moving forward.

As Offset moves into a new phase of his life and career, one thing is clear: marriage is no longer part of his future plans.
