In a fresh twist to Nigeria’s ever-bubbling celebrity drama, Hellen Ati, the alleged baby mama of nightlife entrepreneur Cubana Chief Priest (real name Pascal Okechukwu), has openly mocked him over his conspicuous absence at Davido and Chioma’s lavish white wedding in Miami, Florida.

The socialite, known for her outspoken nature, took to social media to throw a sharp jab in classic Naija pidgin, saying: “Na azaman you dey do… make I see you go U.S. now.” The shade instantly went viral, sparking heated debates across social media platforms.

Cubana Chief Priest, a close friend of music superstar Davido, revealed that his inability to attend the wedding was due to a denied U.S. visa. In a heartfelt Instagram post, he expressed disappointment over missing the milestone event, writing:

“Woke up this morning with mixed feelings… I appreciate the bashing… Do it for me this time… Delay is never denial.”

He further explained that although his wife and family were present in Miami to celebrate with Davido and Chioma, he was only there “in body and spirit,” not in person

Hellen Ati, however, did not let the matter rest. In a bold move, she updated her Instagram profile to include Pascal Okechukwu’s name, a clear signal in their ongoing paternity dispute. She has repeatedly demanded a DNA test to establish the paternity of her child, a matter that has fueled intense public speculation.

In a now-viral video, Hellen addressed Chief Priest directly, saying:

“Why have you not gone to Davido’s wedding in the US?... Let me see you go to the US now… You cannot support your own family!”

The taunt added fuel to an already tense situation, blending personal grievances with public spectacles.

Cubana Chief Priest’s absence was notable because he has long positioned himself as a staunch supporter of Davido, often referring to the singer as a brother. His no-show at one of Davido’s most significant life events was perceived by many fans as a missed opportunity to honor that friendship in person.

The incident also highlights the reality of visa politics, even for celebrities who flaunt opulent lifestyles. Being denied entry to the United States at such a crucial moment amplified the scrutiny on Chief Priest, especially given his high-profile image.

At the same time, Hellen’s Instagram name change and public call-out underscore how personal conflicts can spill into public brand perception in Nigeria’s celebrity scene. The ongoing paternity saga continues to intertwine with his public narrative, ensuring that both the drama and the discussions remain firmly in the spotlight.
