Priscilla Ojo, the daughter of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, has appealed to the Canadian embassy to hasten the processing of her husband, Tanzanian singer Juma Jux’s visa.
According to Nollywood Times on Sunday, the couple recently welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Rakeem Ayomide Mkambala, in Canada.
Speaking in a phone interview with a blog, Juma disclosed that although he has applied for his Canadian visa, the process has been delayed. He expressed optimism that it would be granted soon so he can reunite with his wife and newborn. He explained that because the baby is still very young, it would be difficult for Priscilla and the child to travel to Tanzania at the moment.
Meanwhile, Priscilla took to her Snapchat to respond to a fan urging her husband to hurry and join them. Expressing how much she misses him, she wrote:
“Could someone please call the Canadian embassy to quicken daddy’s visa? We miss him badly.”
To mark the arrival of his son, Juma shared a celebratory moment with a friend on Snapchat. In the clip, the two were seen raising glasses and taking a shot in honor of the newborn’s birth.
He later posted stylish photos of himself on Instagram with the caption: “Rakeem’s Dad.”
