Reality TV star Phyna has sparked controversy on social media after accusing billionaire businessman Aliko Dangote and the Dangote Group over a road accident that allegedly injured her sister.
According to Phyna, the incident involved a truck owned by the conglomerate, and she claimed that the company instructed Nigerian police to remove the license plate from the vehicle involved in the accident.
Phyna, who gained fame as a former Big Brother Naija winner, expressed her frustration over the handling of the matter.
She alleged that one of Dangote Group’s managers planned to visit the police station managing the case, seemingly without prioritizing her sister’s well-being. In her post, Phyna questioned why the company had not made any attempt to check on her sister first, describing the situation as deeply frustrating.
In a strongly worded message shared online, Phyna emphasized that the truck and its driver must remain in police custody.
She vowed to pursue justice for her sister and criticized the company for allegedly placing wealth above human concern.
Writing in pidgin English, she stated that despite the influence and resources of the Dangote Group, her faith in God would guide her actions, insisting that the company cannot place money above human life.
Phyna’s post read in part: “DEAR @ALIKO_DANGOTEGCON @DANGOTEGROUP FROM ALL THAT HAS HAPPEN YOU DECIDED TO RATHER TELL THE NIGERIAN POLICE TO REMOVE THE PLATE NUMBER ON THE TRUCK THAT CRUSH MY SISTER. AND ALSO ONE OF YOUR MANAGERS IS GOING TO THE STATION TOMORROW. WHAT HAPPENED TO SEEING MY SISTER FIRST? IF THAT TRUCK AND YOUR DRIVER SHOULD LEAVE THAT STATION!!! I WILL BE RIGHT BACK I’M ATTENDING TO MY SISTER FIRST NA MONEY YOU GET YOU NO BE GOD. BUT MY GOD IS BIGGER. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH UNA DON TOO CHO PEOLE BUT YOU SEE THIS??? AHHHH”
