Nollywood actress Biola Bayo has reached out to console her colleague, Bose Alao, following the painful loss of her husband, Razak Omotoyosi.
A few days ago, reports confirmed that Bose’s husband, a former Beninese international footballer, passed away in Benin at the age of 38. According to online sources, he had been battling an undisclosed illness before his sudden demise.
Sharing her grief on Instagram, Biola Bayo posted a heartfelt clip of herself with Bose Alao and offered prayers of comfort. She encouraged her colleague to stay strong in this difficult period.
> “The Lord is your strength, Abikemi @bosealaoo. Be comforted, my lady, God is with you and your family. May his soul rest in perfect peace,” she wrote.
Just last month, Bose Alao had spoken candidly about her marriage during an interview with Biola Bayo. She revealed how, after a three-year separation, she unknowingly became her husband’s side chick. She recalled a painful incident when she called him, only for another woman to answer and mockingly refer to her as “an old taker.”
Back in 2018, the actress had publicly announced the end of her marriage, citing repeated cases of domestic violence. However, in a later development, she issued an apology to her husband for going public with their struggles. While acknowledging that domestic violence did occur, she admitted she was not entirely without blame and disclosed that the couple was seeking professional help.
In an interview with Punch, Bose clarified that her marriage was still intact, explaining that she deliberately kept her family out of the spotlight while they were undergoing therapy.
The union between Bose Alao and Razak Omotoyosi was blessed with four daughters.
