Amidst ongoing rumours of a marital crisis between Nollywood actor Yul Edochie and his second wife, Judy Austin, veteran actress Rita Edochie has showered praises on her former daughter-in-law, May Edochie.
Taking to her Instagram page, Rita Edochie described May as “the rejected stone who has become the chief cornerstone”, noting that despite the trials she has faced, she continues to shine with grace and dignity.
The actress emphasized that those who conspired against May have only ended up breaking themselves, while those who mocked her have now become silent admirers.
Quoting her lengthy post, Rita Edochie wrote:
“The rejected stone has finally become the Chief cornerstone.
Queen May is my blessed child of grace.
Her life is not ordinary; she carries divine oil upon her head.
Those who conspired to break her have ended up breaking themselves.
Those who mocked her have turned into silent admirers, watching helplessly as God lifts her higher every day.”
She further stated that May’s adversaries are restless because the hand of God upon her is too heavy to resist.
“Today, her enemies are already running helter-skelter, confused and restless, because the hand of God upon Queen May is too heavy for them to fight. The more they attack, the more she rises, the more they try to bury her, the more she blossoms.”
Rita added that May Edochie, who many thought would fade away, has instead become a global voice of strength, dignity, and grace.
“The woman they thought would fade away has become the voice of strength, dignity, and grace across nations.
Her story has turned into a testimony. Her tears into triumph, her pain into power.
Queen May is unstoppable because she is carried by the covenant of God. No charm, no gossip, no manipulation, no strange woman, no enemy can scatter what heaven has ordained.
She walks clothed in beauty, wrapped in honour, and crowned with favour.”
The Nollywood actress concluded by warning that anyone who dares to fight May Edochie is indirectly fighting against God.
“Mark this: anyone who fights Queen May Yul Edochie is fighting against God himself, and no one has ever waged war against the Almighty and survived.
My darling daughter, keep shining, you are grace personified, the pride of motherhood, and the evidence that He never abandons His own children.”
With her words, Rita Edochie reaffirmed her unwavering support for May Edochie, who continues to receive public admiration amid the controversy surrounding Yul Edochie and Judy Austin.
