A social media user, VeryDarkMan, has called on billionaire businessman Aliko Dangote to take responsibility for the reckless driving practices of his company’s drivers, following yet another tragic accident involving a student.
“Aliko Dangote, if you truly care about human lives and the lives of Nigerians, you must put an end to the recklessness of your drivers. Too many innocent students are dying in Kogi State, Edo State is still mourning their loved ones, and now, another bright future has been cut short,” VeryDarkMan wrote.
The appeal comes after Ruth Otabor Bodon, a student of Federal Polytechnic Auchi, lost her life in an accident yesterday. Highlighting the urgency of the situation, VeryDarkMan stressed that such incidents could be mitigated.
“We know accidents happen, but they can be reduced. For the case of Ruth Otabor Bodon, a student of Federal Polytechnic Auchi, whose future was taken away yesterday, you must take full responsibility,” he added.
VeryDarkMan explained his hesitation to pursue legal action, citing Dangote’s influence, and instead made a heartfelt plea. “I thought about getting a lawyer, but we all know the truth — we can’t win against your influence in court. That’s why I am appealing to you, man to man, human to human please take full responsibility. Be human.”
