Actress Chinelo Rita, popularly known as Chinelo Nwaa, has publicly expressed her disappointment in fellow actress Ruby Ojiakor over what she described as a lack of support during a difficult period in her life.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Chinelo highlighted the irony in Ruby's actions, stating that while Ruby had no issues reaching out to invite her to her wedding and even asked her to purchase wedding outfits, she remained silent during Chinelo’s time of grief.
Chinelo questioned the value people place on attending weddings, implying that many fail to understand the emotional and financial investment it takes. She urged her colleagues in the entertainment industry to match the energy and support they receive from others, emphasizing that she’s someone who goes above and beyond for those she cares about.
“Nothing dey this life absolutely. Not for clout, but you see the fake love in this industry is alarming. Na im make nobody come my DM,” she wrote. "Y’all pray with God’s name, but, the one wey una go do to show una Christianity is No. We are just a pencil in the hand of the creator."
She further added: "I don’t know how to carry person for heart and be beefing you. I no dey do that one with you guys. Na as e dey hot. Sad, my mind is off."
Expressing her frustration with the lack of genuine support in the industry, she continued: "Una think say to go wedding na small money. Learn to reciprocate the energy people give you. People wey dey give me love, know I can move mountain for them. Right or wrong. That’s who I am."
Chinelo concluded her message with a blunt remark, labeling some people as "wicked souls" and adding, "Soon na long rosary una go carry."
