Often referred to as the "African Giant", Burna Boy has carved a name for himself on the international scene. In 2021, he made history as the first Nigerian solo artist to win a Grammy with his album Twice as Tall.

He has performed at globally acclaimed events like Coachella (2019), Glastonbury Festival (2023), and sold out the Madison Square Garden in New York in 2022. In 2023, he also became the first African artist to headline a UK stadium concert at the London Stadium, drawing over 60,000 fans.

2. Wizkid

Wizkid, also known as Starboy, has been a pivotal figure in spreading Afrobeats internationally. His performance at The O2 Arena in London in 2021 sold out in just 12 minutes, making headlines worldwide.

He also performed at Rolling Loud Miami (2022) and was a headline act at the Afro Nation Festival in Portugal. Wizkid made history as the first Nigerian artist to win a Billboard Music Award and continues to tour globally with consistent success.

3. Davido

Known for his energetic stage presence and infectious hits, Davido is one of Nigeria's most influential artists. He has performed at Wireless Festival (UK), Made in America Festival, and headlined Afro Nation Ghana (2022).

In April 2023, he sold out Madison Square Garden, becoming the second Nigerian artist after Burna Boy to do so. Davido also performed at the closing ceremony of the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar, marking a significant milestone in his career.

4. Tiwa Savage

Dubbed the "Queen of Afrobeats", Tiwa Savage has broken numerous barriers for female artists. She performed at Global Citizen Festival (2021) alongside the likes of Coldplay and Billie Eilish.

In May 2023, she became the first female Nigerian artist to perform at the coronation concert of King Charles III at Windsor Castle. Tiwa has also headlined shows at the O2 Indigo in London and performed at several international women-focused events promoting African excellence.

5. Rema

One of the new-school leaders of Afrobeats, Rema gained global acclaim with his hit single “Calm Down” featuring Selena Gomez.

The song topped charts across Europe and the U.S. Rema has performed at the NBA All-Star Weekend Halftime Show (2023) and Paris Fashion Week. He also made a stunning appearance at the Ballon d'Or 2023 ceremony, performing in front of global football legends and fans alike.
