In a candid conversation during a recent episode of the Dear Ife series, the celebrated screen diva revealed that while she once enjoyed a romance with a younger man, she’s no longer interested in pursuing similar relationships.

 

Speaking about the experience, **Shaffy Bello** disclosed, “There is no need for me to date a younger man. I have dated a younger man and don’t want to do it again. What I want now is different. When I dated a younger man, I was having fun. It was for a season, and the season is over, but there is nothing wrong with it.”

 

The elegant actress, known for her poise and bold personality, also shared how men frequently slide into her DMs—ranging from men over 50 to younger admirers. While she finds the attention flattering, Bello noted that some of the messages lack basic respect and decorum.

 

“Men slid into my DM, over 50 and even younger men. It’s flattering, but the thing is, some of them are badly behaved. Some will tell me ‘Hi, dear’,” she remarked, implying that the lack of proper communication is a turn-off.

 

Now in a different phase of life, the veteran Nollywood actress revealed she is open to the idea of marriage again but emphasized that her perspective on it has evolved. “What I want now is marriage; I don’t mind marriage. But I have a different opinion when it comes to marriage. I think a lot of people are rigid when it comes to marriage,” she explained.
