Juliet Ibrahim has expressed her gratitude and excitement following her appointment as the Director of Pan African Actor’s Relations by the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN).
In a public statement, the celebrated actress, filmmaker, and President of Women in Film, Television and Media (WIFT) Ghana described the appointment as an opportunity to promote unity and collaboration across the African film industry.
“I am honored to be appointed as Director, AGN – Pan African Actor’s Relations by the esteemed Actors Guild of Nigeria,” she stated.
She emphasized her dedication to African creatives and highlighted the importance of cross-border partnerships in storytelling and content creation.
“As President of Women in Film, Television and Media (WIFT) Ghana, a filmmaker, actress, and a passionate advocate for African creatives, I see this as a powerful opportunity to strengthen unity, foster cross-border collaborations, and open new doors for African storytellers globally.”
Though the position is honorary, Juliet described it as a purpose-driven role she fully embraces.
“Though honorary, this position is a calling I embrace with passion and purpose – knowing that building a stronger industry for future generations is the true reward,” she said.
She also thanked the AGN for entrusting her with the role, assuring them of her commitment to championing Pan-African excellence in film and entertainment.
“To the entire AGN family: thank you for the trust. I’m ready to serve, connect, and champion Pan-African excellence in film and entertainment.”
She concluded with a message of unity, urging African creatives to work together to reshape global narratives.
“Let’s build bridges, tell our stories, and shape global narratives together.”
