Nollywood actress Kudirat Ogunro, popularly known as Semilore Pweety, has taken to social media to express her heartfelt appreciation to veteran actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele.
To usher in the new month of July, Kudirat posted a video on her Instagram page that captured a touching moment of Funke Akindele offering prayers for her. In the caption, Kudirat expressed her deep gratitude for the support and blessings.
"Dear Lord, as we step into July, I pray for guidance, protection, and blessings. May this month bring joy, peace, and prosperity to all. Grant us wisdom, strength, and good health. May our dreams and aspirations be fulfilled, and may we walk in faith and love. Amen," she wrote in her post.
She went on to appreciate Funke directly, adding, "@funkejenifaakindele thank you mama for the prayers mi o ni wa yin ti lagbara Olorun Amin,” which translates to, “I will not lose you by God’s grace, Amen.”
In a related show of appreciation, actress Iyabo Ojo had earlier commended Kudirat Ogunro during the wedding ceremony of her daughter, Priscilla. Iyabo acknowledged Kudirat’s vital role in helping raise her children while she was busy on movie sets. She shared that Kudirat would cook for them, care for them, and even assist in training them, highlighting her dedication and importance in their lives.
