Popular Nollywood actress Biodun Okeowo, also known as Omoborty, has strongly reacted to a social media troll who questioned her about an alleged affair with comedian and content creator, Cute Abiola.
The incident occurred after a follower left a provocative comment under one of her posts, referencing long-standing rumours about her and Cute Abiola. The troll wrote:
“But wait o, you and Cute Abiola been dey knack that year Abi? New week na question o.”
Okeowo did not take the accusation lightly and responded with a fiery message, directing her anger more at the blogger who she claims started the false rumours than the troll himself.
“As for you @eazeekodeworldwid, I don’t blame you. I blame the Olori buruku liar blogger who is hell-bent on dragging my name through the mud with lies,” she wrote.
She called on divine intervention, expressing confidence that the truth would prevail.
“May the God of justice expose and disgrace him or her publicly. To that stupid lie lie blog: You can deceive the world, but you can’t deceive God. Every false word you’ve typed to tarnish every single innocent soul will return to you in double measure. No matter how long you hide, the hand of God will unmask you.”
The actress concluded with a powerful prayer, seeking justice and truth.
“Whoever is behind that blog may God disgrace you with the truth without mercy in Jesus’ name. You can’t keep lying to innocent people and expect peace. God will expose you. AMEN.”
The actress’s strong denial comes amid growing instances of Nollywood celebrities facing false rumours and online harassment. Okeowo has made it clear that she will not stay silent in the face of such defamation.
